Obviously pros offloaded soon after the open, went short, smashed it, covered, went long. As I see it, now 2 possible scenarios:

1. Trap move. Pros have offloaded and gone short again. Shaken out punters or those late to the party may have rushed back in to buy after today's lows. They represent weak holders and if the pros are short they need these holders trapped at higher prices so they don't buy on the way down and hamper the down move. This is what happened on last TOL announcement.

2. Absorption. Quite possible given the supply around these levels it was always gonna be hard work going up. Also difference between this TOL announcement and the last TOL announcement is this jump was after a long downtrend off long term lows rather than at the top of an uptrend.
