No one doubts BTA's science. The problem has been management's ability to commercialize it. It seems Inhibitex had the exact opposite problem.
If Plumb can sell dud science imagine what he could do with good science.
I give his appointment a big thumbs up. To be fair, Bozo the Chimp, would have deserved a big thumbs up relative to the incumbent management. Nonetheless, Plumb is actually a person, with some commercial biotech success so he deserves a HUGE cheer.
Anyway, if Plumb doesn't take the job Bozo might still be available and he really will work for peanuts, making him value accretive (relative to PC) from day one.
