OFFICE: NZO: External Relations Manager appointed

A new external relations manager has been appointed at New Zealand Oil & Gas
Ltd.

John Pagani was previously a senior adviser to the Leader of the Opposition
and earlier started a public affairs consultancy specialising in development.

NZOG Chief Executive Andrew Knight says, "John will be a member of the senior
management team at NZOG. I am very pleased to have someone with his
background and expertise join us permanently and I expect him to contribute
strongly to the company's future success."

John Pagani has a politics degree from the University of Auckland, and a law
degree from Victoria University of Wellington.
