A GSA is not an "asset" if you do not have any gas.
    An understatement.
But, if you DO have a GSA and you have gas, then, equally, it is another understatement that you have a HUGE asset.

I am sure that if anyone has been following the gas "story", that there is much more competition now from other suppliers and that those that do not have GSAs "may have missed the boat" as has been quoted in several reports.
ICN's GSA is priced against the Singapore Tapis crude price. With more suppliers coming from East Africa and the likes, it is predicted that future GSAs will be priced against the gas market price. That is also a HUGE disadvantage, with gas prices at extreme lows at present and it confirms what is being said that if you do not have a GSA now, you probably HAVE missed the boat as if you do get lucky and secure one it will be at a far less lucrative price, especially if it has to be extracted from shale.

With ICN having that 20 year+ GSA, on the terms which it has been achieved, makes that GSA AND ICN a very attractive "asset" indeed.
Well done R.J. Now, all we have to do is find that gas!!!
    Soon know.
