re: Ann: ZSP: S&P DJ Indices Announces Septem... I now think that the flurry of downward pressure may have had something to do with TGR being dropped from the ASX 300. I did not realise it but the drop could have been predicted at least a month ago and today when those funds would have to rebalance (those that can only invest in the ASX 300) there has been no selling pressure at all. You could say that they may not have invested but some funds have top mirror the index so they would have held stock in a volatile but illiquid stock.
Any thoughts?
