I don't think it was the ruck, they just weren't clean handling the ball with the massive pressure Freo applied. In the first half guys like Selwood and Bartel had butter fingers, almost unheard of.
Thanks to Geelong for playing such a great brand of footy for so long! they were exhilerating to watch, especially around 2007.
