You may recall me informing you all that the Tai prospect was to be tested in a follow up well. This is incorrect, Tai is the Jurassic closure being tested in L8. My apologies for the confusion. Apache's presentation indicated two target zones, Upper Tertiary and Lower Tertiary/Upper Cretaceous. They stated Tai as a follow up prospect in the Jurassic. It was confirmed that there were two targets zones, but that was because they considered the entire Tertiary and Upper Cretaceous a primary zone. The primary zone included both the Kipini and Kofia sands, of which the Kofia (Upper Cretaceous) are confirmed to be gas bearing.

Here is images from the 2009 Presentation showing the Anomaly at the Tai Prospect.

The 2010 image below, further defines the Jurassic into several closures. As you can see PCL continues to define the play as Mbawa, which further adds to the confusion. Many media outlets reported that Tai would require a follow up well dependent on success at Mbawa, but from this analysis I now believe it will be tested with the current well. In addition, in the first image you can see Apache define the Tertiary/Cretaceous as the Mbawa Sands and the Jurrasic Sands as the Tai Sands. The 64 sqkm closure in the image below, must be big bad Tai.

    Game Still On? :)
