Theoretically, "IF" Halifax-1 does replicate Encounter and Holdfast, it has already penetrated 200 metres of (proven) gas bearing shale and still has another 700 metres to drill. That is what Reg Nelson was getting at when he said that indications were there that there was around 1000 metres of gas bearing shale in these leases.
