Thanks for all this great info. It's good to have a geo here. Yes we may have many play types in Canning basin. It's a very big area though, needs a lot of drilling. So, I am being very patient as I am quite sure there is a working petroleum system in both northern and southern parts of Canning basin.
Canning_Basin_SRK_Report was given by my post Post #: 6973514 on July 22 2011 here. It was more than a year ago. I think we have processes and discussed tonnes of data here btw.
I would appreciate if you could have a look at my Post #: 7947016 (at below link) on March 3, 2012 and make comments. I am making a follow up post to that thread for bringing it to attention again here. Especially the section highlighted as "High probability of finding better source rock properties in this deep location due better depositional conditions" is giving the same idea you mentioned above.
