Yes, agree entirely. Forecasting exact timelines for production is not an exact science.
I might add that if MYG can tidy up its finance, then I don't see what is to stop the SP rising where, as you rightly point out, GDX, GDXJ Hui etc have just broken up through their long term ressistance levels.
Bought more at 10c.
