I didn't intend to comment beyond my first post on this matter as I didn't want the thread to descend into discussion - I only wanted people to say they wanted in.

However, your post bought up a couple of points.

1. All levels of staff and board are effected.

I can tell you that Don doesn't read HC anymore - he is that pissed off with it.

2. Part of my thinking for doing this is that as I started to think about the staff feeling unappreciated ----------- it dawned on me that they may well have never had the opportunity to be thanked by the actual owners of the company .. aside for the odd personal gratitude - and I don't know if that has ever happened either.

As to a comment from someone to expecting their best because they are workers -------- hmmmm, well.
I have never seen a crew like this in all my time that I have been interested in mining - and that's about 45 years.

Also, these people go beyond the call - a couple of xmas's ago not only the dedicated shift for the mill - but the whole team turned up at xmas when most other people were spending time with their families and loved ones.
Our people were there because they cared about our new baby - the mill had been switched on that day - and they cared - big time.

They did that and they do those sorts of things for us - and for that, many of us feel gratitue - and personally I feel we should sweep away the crap that sometimes seeps through to our individuals on the ground.
