economists hedge fund managers etc and those close to the markets did not miss all these events and have made squillions. It has been main street which has been belted. (basic stats support it)
it was the mainstream media that deliberately missed the whole shooting match. with their focus on trying to force people how to think instead of representing society and its evolution.
it is the consequence of remaining ignorant and believing force beats thought.
