BUT

The crux of the problem is how Muslims clerics (and maybe it is Muslims in general) interpret the Koran and want to impose it on our modern society.

Here are two references to beheading in the Koran:

God revealed His will to the angels, saying: "I shall be with you. Give courage to the believers. I shall cast terror into the hearts of the infidels. Strike off their heads, strike off the very tips of their fingers." (Sura 8, Verse 12)

"When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield strike off their heads." (Sura 47, Verse 4)

Beheading is obviously complete violence to us, the outsiders, but to Muslims, it is a part of Sha'aria Law.

So when this woman said she didn't think the protest would turn violent, in her mind, beheading is only part of her Law - that she obviously does not believe is violent.
