An interesting article in the Bus Spec about wireless capacity and the inability of telcos and mobile networks to keep up. Makes solutions like WiFi in high use locations like train stations and shopping centers attractive, at least in the medium term until technology and capacity can catch up. From experience I know how frustrating it can be having a great signal, but no bandwidth, for example when you're at the footy with 50,000 other people, something to fill the network gaps is important and our GCN have a solution.
