Looks like more buyers today and orders not filled.
On 16/4 there was a price sensitive announcement, so bigger volume. At moment we don't have any announcement, may be someone knows something; very few people know it. Just IMO.

It is very hard to buy shares without paying massive premium. Yesterday, buyers already paid 35% premium, but could only manage to get 880K shares ($20K), so sellers at 35% premium still reluctant to sell.
If you look yesterday, there are orders (total >2 million shares ABOVE 2c, previous close price before 35% jump) NOT filled. If there were sellers around 2.2c yesterday, those big orders would be filled yesterday, so volume would have been 3-4 millions WITHOUT any announcement.
Seriously how do you buy $100K worth of shares around 2-3c?
