dont take much notice of those seasonal forecasts as with graincorp it is the next few weeks that is critical for size of crop -and s.a. not much impact on graincorp i dont believe - some of their silos get some feed in but not a lot i dont think
some of vic and sthn nsw can get a response with rain after the next few weeks but I am pretty confident that that will only stop crop from shrinking more - to get an average to above average crop i think we need the rains in next couple weeks particularly
I am in sq and i referred to crop good in central queensland or cq - even without rain i feel qld will grow more than those big drought years, especially with cq and heavier soils (that had good subsoil moisture) to sure the crop size up a bit ( would guess at over 1m tonnes still and that is why nsw so important as it should be at least six times that! )- frost has hit some areas of qld pretty bad also but does not normally impact overall numbers as much as rain!
