    Thanks Meme - I just found your post and it was a fantastic read! Cheers and appreciate it.

    Another way of dealing with some of the rubbish on HC is to put posters on ignore. I didn't much bother doing that but over the last couple of months I have started to. It makes a big difference to the flow of the DT thread. Basically cut out all the idiots who are ramping or who have verbal diarrhea.

    I know a couple of HC folks in "the real world" and they have used the ignore feature with enthusiasm. They also limit their time on HC so as to avoid the "noise". And there is plenty of noise on that thread. Just have to dial it back and treat it as one resource or tool - rather than the definitive guide to DT'ing.
