re: Ann: Visible Copper and NIckel Mineralisa... It's worth noting that MEU announced the prospect on 19/09 with comparisons to Nova and the share price jumped 66% that day. So the comparison was already out there 2 days before if people wanted to jump on that bandwagon. It did trade 6m shares that day and almost 4m the next day whilst closing a little higher (5.2c).

My reasons for showing interest on Wednesday and why I bought some shares was the ridiculously low market cap, not compared to companies like SIR, but others such as PEX and ENT. My thinking was that if ENT was worth a punt, then surely MEU was worth one too.

To me, it seems the thing that made this share skyrocket on Friday (instead of Wednesday) was the fact multiple samples at the surface returned visible evidence. Now, I'm no expert so rather than debate the technicalities, can someone please tell me why strong visible evidence at the surface seems so important?

I've read a little on this forum about it's more economical to mine a shallow deposit...etc...but can someone provide a more in depth discussion about what makes a prospect so attractive (like SIR).
