re: thread suspended (free speech) I had given this graph before though if one looks at http://en.rsf.org/press-freedom-index-2011-2012,1043.html including while scrolling down, one can see a clearer picture including rankings where australia is higher than us though lower than the scandinavian countries. additionally, it also has about country files, internet enemies, press freedom index from 2002 and so on.
