Great find SL,

So it looks like we can produce from upper and lower Austin Chalk.

SL do you know if they set the lining and perforate the casing in the horizontal, or is it just that the drill pentrates the natural fractures and so no need to case and cement.

In my imagination i tend to think of this rock as being soft becasue of name Austin Chalk and chalk is soft.But i know in actual fact its probably quite hard just the term misleading.

So i was thinking if they dont line it, it must be still hard enough to retain its integrity and not cave in, because Im presuming it is a softer rock with lots of natural fractures.

Also is our acreage on the edge of the giddings area i cant quite work it out.
