I admit I do have a spread of precious metal stocks.
However I do try and analyse each one, which also includes comparing them to others to see if there is indeed a better option. I also have a spread regarding where the companies are in company cycle, i.e explorer, development and production.
I hold the following for your interest.
CVR, GCY, GRY, MSR, PGI, RED.
Due to my age I prefer stocks that are growth orientated, however I never say no to dividends.
Colinchi - hmm. I guess if that is the worst I will receive due to my post, the AMX threads are fairly friendly.
Do you not compare other stocks to the ones you hold, to reassess whether there is better value elsewhere?
Also - I said in my post that I was hoping to create some discussion, so that was my point.
May I ask how you on what basis you come to the premium of $0.15?
(which in real terms is about $52 million).
As I said there are other factors that I have in my analysis but thought I would start with an overview. Cost of production is also very important, and GRY will have a very low cost compared to the global average. I regularly read AMX threads to ensure that my views are not 'stuck in stone'.
