what bta should be focusing on ..

There is so much discussion going on about BTA's proposed merger with the NASDAQ company and not enough focus on BTA's actual business of researching and finding new cures for this world's ills.

Unfortunately too many CEOs/Boards focus too much mergers/acquisitions and find building a business in the 'too hard' basket. Most of these deals end up not being in the best interest of shareholders.

In BTA's case, management should concentrate on tackling the potential and opportunities to remedy the new SARS-like virus reported by WHO earlier this week. Surely they remember how well business was for BTA when the SARS problem was around.

As such, lets get management on track to the real issues!
