Does anyone have any views on the likely direction of the Hansen family now that the founder Ken has sadly passed?
It probably makes sense for the family (who control about 60%) to rationalize its investments out of HSN to some extent and maybe its good to get more balance in the share register in any event.
Three other questions for a HSN newbie:
I take it that the current CEO is the son of Ken, yes?
And he sold a large parcel of shares not that long ago, any reason ever advanced?
Finally, in 1HFY12, the company did a "Capital Reduction" by taking $8.5m out of "share capital" and plonking it in "Retained Earnings". How in the blazes does this work and why wasn't there any ann on it. Just seems weird. Any insights?
