As the numbers get bigger Democracy as the USA preaches it demands that they had a bigger say in how things are run.
Look at Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Libya etc . All secular societies until the muslims want more control.
Then its civil war and Muslim control leading eventually to Sharia Law. See taliban Afganistan to undertand whats that is like.
