The way I am looking at it, is that it wasn't long ago that we were just living in hopes and prayers. Now, Tony pulled that famous rabbit out of his hat, and it seems that he has paved the way for PLV to go mining.

Sure, I can see that some posters are now complaining in these threads about as to why Tony had to give away 50% of cockatoo to get us to this stage, but I can also see that Tony had to do something in order to get us to this level.

And most importantly, 50% of something (Cockatoo), is better than 100% of nothing.

I don't deny WEG the rights to gain the 50% shsre in the JV, especially when they have successfully organized the money that we desperately needed to get us to this stage. I am also of the beliefs that it would have been harder for us to organize those funds, if we were to try and do it ourselves.
A typical example was when the Australian Entity that was supposed to come in us, pulled out instead and, if it wasn't for WEG to give us the money to give them back the initial funds they gave us, we would been a goner.

WEG has the strong and necessary contacts in China that we wouldn't have. And eventually WEG will have to try and organize the funds that we will need to get Irvine into production as well.

That is, if someone will not make a move on us prior to reaching that stage. But, at a decent price, and if Tony and the Board would agree to it and recommended it to us, I would not argue with that.

I have no gripes no concerns with the way thinhgs turned out, and have all the respects for Tony achieving the impossible. One minute we were gone and the next we are riding on the top of an excellent wave.
From explorer (that nearly disappeared in the horizon to join many others that faced that same fate before), to Producer in such a very short time.

I am now eagerly awaiting for the EGM/AGM to see how many people will agree with what you did, and vote accordingly. Me, I will support it 100%.
