If there are multiple player putting proposals on the table, and one has put a proposal on the table, I would imagine the others may be scrambling to bid, or rebid. Assuming there are multiple players, of course.
If there are not multiple players on the bid, then this announcement may be about flushing the others out. Either way, I would not be surprised if the trading halt is extended on Tuesday to consider counter proposals etc.
This is an "if" of course, but I suspect CTP and other parties can cancel any weekend leave.
