Hello F&B,

It has been the way of CW for as long as I have been reading this forum.My observation is of an extremely talented and knowledgeable individual when it comes to mining and geo geeky stuff and certainly in his element with few peers in here on the subject.
The problem that can arise from that,is one gets used to holding top dog status on a certain subject where little or no counter objective is ever made,and so enters unchartered waters when normally appreciative,sometimes gushing to the point of sycophantic blind faith comments,suddenly change to far more robust and challenging questioning.

This was my point when I posted how the real workings of the inner minds are far more likely to emerge when under pressure not normally accustomed to, and CW reveals much in these situations.

It is clear that he struggles with his view being questioned on ALL subjects that he posts on here,and whilst I don't have a problem with that, I find it sad and self defeating on his part that he often feels the need to try and bolster his position with thinly disguised accusations of ignorance,xenophobia,slander (him or others)or simply just telling the questioner to sell up and move on if he doesn't agree with it or him.

I seem to recall more than one occasion where he has mentioned withdrawing altogether from posting on this forum when things have turned warm in here,possibly knowing that would help toward the desired effect and cool the unwelcome heat,whilst also realising that many posters would immediately implore him to change his mind.

At times - for me - it has been like watching the needy needing the needy which I personally find a tad unhealthy when sometimes searching and awkward questions are definitely the order of the day, and egos' and sulking from ALL on here need to be put on the back burner.

This is all my opinion.

It is what forums are for.

It is meant to ruffle feathers with a positive outcome in mind.

As long as we all make everything we post crystal clear that it is our opinion only,if we think someone may perc eive it libellous,then there should not be reference to it at every turn of a hat in my opinion,because that just serves to stifle probing input.

Just on a legal point.
Unless laws have changed or are different in Australia,slander is the spoken word!
