    I agree, we are a force to be reckoned with.
    In fact, this age cohort we have been a force for decades.
    The present super system is testament to that.
    For the wealthy in our society it is the worst form of tax rorting.
    For system which purports to exist, to keep people from having to rely on the aged pension, a disproportionate amount of subsidy[in the form of tax relief, at contribution, accumulation and drawdown], goes to those who were never going to need the pension.
    The Howard/Costello changes,principally the abolition of the reasonable benefits limits and no tax after 60, should be reversed to restore both intergenerational equity and fiscal responsibility.
    I might add, that being 59, I will continue to keep my snout in the trough, as long as people are foolish enough to keep filling it.
    But just because I like it, doesn't make it right.
