2.1m shares through today

$2.1M shares through today and the price didn't tumble!!!!

Some decent support for the stock, there should be a changing of shareholders now as I beleive the visit by Gill last week to various brokers and insto's actually got people to sit up and take notice of the stock. Brokers are getting their clients in and many are taking the opportunity to get out of the stock and bank some cash...


someone mentioned previously that when this one comes back it will come back with a big bang and I believe it !! subject to the following:

1. Funding/sale of 25 - 30% of Vista (High Risk)
2. Enviro. approvals/permits/lic. (Low Risk)
3. No further substantial deterioration in coal (Medium)
4. China gearing up again (all my network in China seems to say the same thing- approvals on projects/govt works slowing down for the exit of the existing party leaders, new leaders come in with a bank and kick start activity).

Now these are some pretty big items, 2 of which are in CPL's control (Enviro- given it is a coal area so little to no risk of rejection of application, if anything CPL may be required to change some of their submitted environ plan.)

3 or 4 are vital, say coal deteriorates and china doesn’t kick off, then 1 & 2 will have little impact on the share price.... Talk about timing!!

anyway just some very simplistic thoughts-

I am positive on the funding front as Gill wouldnt have come out if the funding arrangement was not imminent (2 - 3 months).
