Satin Tape, my opinion is that OUR company is not at fault of causing pollution, and I believe that the facts bear that out. Further, the Ombudsman's report has shown that Queensland Government and DERM have been sloppy in their approach to clear and rigorous guidelines from the start, not the company's fault. Also, US Shareholders have been grossly disadvantaged,by their actions and the mendacious reactions of others. Your view on the loss of capital investment, and the prospect of resuming at Kingaroy, seems mostly to rely on the flawed (in my opinion) findings of a previous report. I think that the company approached the due diligence of site suitability correctly, but didn't pay enough attention the public relations aspect. Edd put it rather well: " I'm happy to accept that in all probability "the Government" (DERM) was not qualified Satin, but you'll need to try a lot harder to convince me that "the company" was not qualified."
I do agree though that a helluva lot depends upon the outcomes of the Court cases, and subsequent Government decisions, but I remain optimistic.
You correctly say that your ownership or not of shares in the company,is is irrelevant, and I apologise for my pedantic cheap shot.
