    Hi Timber,

I can only give you my answer and the way I view gold. I am considering splitting my time between living in Queensland and the UK (I currently rent places in both countries.) However, a couple of years back I started looking to buy a house in the UK and coincidently it is still for sale. I decided then it was better wait and watch.

Two years back I got 42 UK pence for my Oz dollar and now I get 66 pence, the property asking price has dropped by 20% in the meantime.

However; all I know is that if I did wish to buy that house now I would only have to sell 40% of the gold I would otherwise needed to sell two year back and that’s not an illusion either!

Unfortunately for the real estate agent continuing to contact me about this property and an amount of Scottish blood in my veins I am content to rent for a little longer and wait until I only need to sell 20% of the gold. As far as I’m concerned it’s only a matter of time. Although I realise I will need to watch our dollar closely.

Maybe you are right the price in Dollars, Pounds, Euros or sea shells may well be meaningless, however, so far gold is working for me just the way I want it to.

BTW I prefer the term Gold Enthusiast, Gold Bug is the derogatory term used by people that don’t understand how useful gold can be as illustrated above.

Cheers sir and very best regards: Andy
