They know they need to strike now before mngt sells of forestry and futuris.
Expect a much better offer in the next few weeks.
In regards to futuris , the book value is $214 million.
2011 EBITDA was $35 million. We will wait with interest what the EBITDA for futuris was for 2012. You could expect approx 6 times this figure in sale price.
I'm getting very excited.
If elders can sell off futuris and forestry for book value, we will be left with minimal debt and a rejuvenated rural services business.
We will be a major takeover target.
