I've received an e-mail very recently in regard to Matmor - the basic summary of that e-mail are -

Matmor relies on the Coldry process to produce the right feedstock for efficient operation. It is through the intimate contacting of coal and iron oxide particles in the the pellet that's achieve thorough reduction of the iron oxide. Matmor needs Coldry.

As Matmor uses a slightly modified Coldry process to produce the composite iron ore-lignite pellets necessary as a feedstock for the Matmor retort, the current Coldry DFT will definitely leverage into the design phase of the Matmor pilot plant.

Matmor development investment is seriously derisked by advancing Coldry to commercial design.

Matmor was looked at using alternative products to Coldry for quite some time...... It never worked out on any of those instances

Basically Matmor isn't going anywhere without Coldry . That 20m figure maybe somewhat off Macro.....
