cgt2009, I seem to remember the FDA deliberately delayed the release of Relenza in the US just so Tamiflu could be released at the same time. If Relenza had been given a decent head start, antiviral in powdered form could have been established as the norm. e.g. asthma medicines.
Roche has fun rings around PC anyway. Giving the WHO some free Tamiflu to use in poor countries was genius. Tamiflu became established and trusted. A PR masterstroke, but never mind that, because PC knows best.
