Agricultural chemicals manufacturer Nufarm Limited (ASX:NUF) says its wholly owned subsidiary Nufarm Australia has completed its $US325 million capital raising in the US which it launched last week.
The unsecured notes offered to institutional investors, was aimed at paying down existing debt.
Nufarm says the capital raising reflects its strategy of diversifying funding sources and extending debt maturities.
Nufarm rebounded to a net profit of $72.8 million in the 2012 financial year from a loss of $49.5 million the year before.
