For those who dont know- Statoil (who were rumoured* to be in talks of JV/FI with CTP)have been partnering with Petrofrontier (Canadian?) who have farm in agreement with Baraka (BKP asx). They have been drilling a number of wells in the Southern Georgina Basin which is why someone was mentioning 'nearology' (hate that word personally. Anyway results are probably due in the near future which made me think that these results would be the main driver for the rumoured JV with us? Thats to say if they have great results, they will want the nearby land to drill- much of which is under CTP tennemant.
