Someone posted a while ago that you need to grease the wheels to get the OK and that RTM screwed up by not following the protocol.

The way this unravelled, there is an opportunity to "explain the misunderstanding" and have the decision reversed without anyone "losing face".

The door is not quite closed (but nearly), and there may just be a slim chance? If it were to happen, I imagine it would be in a few weeks at most.
