Someone (was it Fmx?) correctly pointed out that this is not proof as the portion that was sent to the lab may have contained less gold than the portion that was panned.
However it is also possible that the portion that was sent to the lab did contain just as much gold (or more) than that panned so this should be viewed as positive and potentially very significant.
