"Andrew sutherland quoted a figure of 8-12 billion dollars per 1TCF at the proactive investors forum/meeting in Sydney a few months ago when Zoops and myself attented."

    Wishful thinking in my opinion.
But then peope here appreciate "optimistic" postings far more than realistic ones.

"Also if you have a look at BPT announcement dated August 10, 2011. They announced that their resource booking of 2TCF equates to in excess of 330 MILLION barrels of oil."
That would be more like 3 - 4.5 billion $ IMO

More than a year ago - before gas prices went bad in the US - the following might be of interest:
"Derrick values the upstream portion of the deal to be between $300 - $350 million. The 1 Tcf of recoverable reserves is valued at $1.8 - $2 /BOE. This metric is based on a similar deal in the region involving MGM Energy and KOGAS in Dec 2010, where the contingent resources of the Umiak SDL 131 field was valued @ $2/BOE."
