BK Fair bit of media on high frequency trading (HFT)and how it's devaluing the purpose of the markets ie "Investing in a company to achieve growth". ABC report yesterday indicated Asian governments in particular China and India, and regulators are looking at ways to protect long term investment in companies to guard against future GFC's. UBS have come out in support of regulation. One suggestion was to put a fee on each HFT making it less profitable. Will be interesting to see how that all translates especially in the US if Romney gets in lol.
