"Why would anyone waste their money buying out at Mt Druitt or Macquarie fields? "

obviously, you know little about Macquarie Fields.....

HousingNSW is slowly selling off or converting all the old commission homes

The area IS gentrifying and shaking off it's past.(similiar to Padstow etc)

    It has excellent facilities...

    3 primary schools
    2 high schools,one selective
    TAFE campus
    outdoor olympic pool
    indoor sports centre
    large shopping mall
    smaller strip shopping centre
    Railway station+parking
    Close to Glenfield railway station
    Police station
    Ambulance station
    Fire station
    tennis courts
    skate park
    Milton Park sports fields
Close to aged care....Frank Whiddon homes at Glenfield
    Bus depot
    Close to F5
    close to industry...Ingleburn/Holsworthy/Chipping Norton
    Ingleburn restaurants/cafes nearby
Macca's ......well,if u like that kind of stuff
    Tree-lined streets
Simmo's beach recreation area on the George's river
    Affordable housing
    large blocks.
    Quite Cul-de-sac streets
potential for great gains as the area continues rejuvinating.

And no,I'm not an agent, and I don't live there, just sick of the media not knowing and reporting the right facts

Show me one other suburb that has all that!
