Stoops Google Horn valley siltstone. there are a number of Aust government geo reports available online, on this formation within the NT and SA. Im not a Geo however all of these reports point to this siltstone as being a major source of oil and gas. From what i can gather essentially what RC is implying is that the same formation that feeds the STO meerinie and palm valley feilds extends all the way to surprise and then some. early geo reports thought the formation was only 30-40 meters deep however in later reports it was upped to 120m. I believe there is also an independant report that CTP had done back in 2007 that gives some more info on the geo under our tennements.If our 3D tells us that we are sitting on a stretch that is 150m deep no wonder he is a happy camper.

If his body language is anything to go by the deal he did with STO will still be very profitable to us given the extent of the formation and the fact that STO are doing all the work. There is certainly something that he knows that we dont and he is quite happy about it, 3D? flow rate? 2nd JV? All of the above?

Its sorta hard not to get carried away with it all.
