He seemed to me to be emphasing CTP's Horn Valley Shale. The numbers he gave are better, I think, than the Eagleford Shale in Texas. If it is that would be one hell of a lot of oil. Until it is drilled and fracced we will not know if it will flow and that takes money. I haven't heard mention of any gas just oil.

Suprise is very significat as the oil source is the same as the other 2 fields in the area. Mereenie oil field is over 160 km away which means that potentially all the shale in between could be oil filled.

Above the shale any sandstone traps have the potential to be oil filled. No wonder the Gorillas are interested.

I have not seen anything from RC to indicate suprise itself is large. If it comes in at 10 Million I will be happy. Of cource the more the better. Even if it came in at 5MBO the potential is incredible.

Bring on the joint venture and lets get drilling!
