Pisces, many people don't understand the companies they invest in... Even less actually admit it... So congrats on the honestyt...

For mine, nickel is really a metal for economic growth..
I don't understand all the hype at the moment and tend to agree with you about stocks being over rated... But guess that is the market..

There are 2 key points that make WCN my choice though..
- a management team that has proven capable of getting us thru tough times with minimal dilution.
- WCN is a multi commodity play that should survive doom and boom.

The gold assets are as good if not better than the nickel assets, if we accept copper and nickel is for boom then gold is for doom...

Personally I am provably a lot less optimistic as regards global economics...

My understanding is that some nickel producers are already stockpiling nickel until prices rise... I think this is occurring at Ravensthorpe.. So really I struggle to see the logic of all the hype.. At least it made a few more people aware of WCN.. But I won't be following the crowd... Happy to stay and hold WCN lot longer yet..

I don't see the recent placement and SPP as a real issue it was small and only available to a few.. In my experience I have seen stocks with substance keep on charging...
As they say, time will tell.
