Can anyone shed any light on this for me please.
The Ocean Patriot is drilling Basker-2 for Beach oil and will be moving on to Mclean/Gilbert for EBR etc following completion.
On 15/8 Beach reported Basker-2 was underway and would take up to 40 days. They also said will drill to total depth 3360 meters.
On 17/8 the announcement by Beach states the drill has reached 1006 meters. At this rate it should be finished quite quickly.
Does the drilling slow down at certain depths? or can anyone make sense of these figures for me.
