despite the many pro and con arguments (some well thought out and some not so). This simple point that you highlight here is the one that weighs most for me.
Those last hold outs, and stone, in CRE have often been mocked and derided (by myself included) on this forum as to how powerless and insignificant they now are.
at 51% SD we are effectively the same as they are now.
all that we can do is deliver a strike each year which has no hope of getting up unless SD gives the nod.
Perhaps this 51 % sellout is the boards payback for last years strike. With SD backing they are safe regardless.
