I tend to think that with interest rates coming off like they have been at the moment people will be looking at better ways to utilise their cash, ie the share market.
Hardly surprising when you have stocks like WPL with div yields of 3.3%, BHP 3.17%. The resource stocks have been long unloved but they seem far more attractive at present when you dont get that much more for having your money sitting in the bank.
I get the feeling that people who have been sitting on the sidelines may start entering the stock market once again.
