Either way his resignation is his decision, we can guess all day long why but it may have been for the simple reason that wanted to spend more time with his family, under too much stress, health issues, who knows.

I will say again, even though many have stated he's done a lousy job and that it was a good thing he's resigned, I pointed out in a previous post and maintained he's done a good job under testing and trying times. Under conditions that would have been extremely difficult considering they were and still are a company with a technology essentially starting from scratch. Anyone that's been in business would understand, it takes a huge amount of time and energy, huge amount of resources, many obstacles and many headaches and sleepless nights and this can come from a very basic business start up, let alone one trying to achieve what Carbon Energy is attempting to achieve.

Even then nothing is guaranteed for success.

The announcement today is wihout a doubt fantastic news, news that all share holders should be extemely happy and somewhat relieved about.

As for giving Qld the flick or not bothering about the Qld side of things, I certainly don't agree and still want things to go in a positive direction for Carbon Energy in Qld, who knows this latest news may well be an extra catalyst in helping the Qld Government make a favourable decision on whether Carbon Energy gets the green light in Qld, at the very least it should grab some attention not only Qld but from other potential customers around the world.

I will say though I hope put much of their resources and focuss on building a strong relationship in China now, especially now they've got the acceptance we all hoped they'd get in Qld/Australia also.

Can you imagine how the market would hve reacted to this news if the world economy was booming, I believe if we had have seen this sort of deal signed off on 2 years ago, the sp would have been over a dollar easily.

Lets all hope this gives the sp a nice boost today and beyond.

My guess is it should be enough to double the sp in a few days.
