I remember - The small blue bag put in with the washing in the wash boiler also used for bee stings - The wooden stick used to stir the washing in the boiler - Metal pedal toy cars - Potato spud guns - basket bombs, double bungers, thunders, tom thumbs and half penny bungers -Lithgow single shot .22 rifle - Back pedal brakes on bikes -color was spelt colour along with many other words spelt differently now -billy carts with old pram wheels and later with old ball races replacing pram wheels. - mechanical push mowers -valve radios - I still use one in the shed, great sound -car indicators that flipped out from the door pillar. - Mechanical arms on the drivers side door that the driver operated to show if stopping or turning right. - Not having to indicate left when driving - going to the shop and buying 4 bullet lollies for a penny
