There is an interesting article in Sept's issue of New Scientist. Many believe that we are in the era of peak oil and that searching for shale oil is just scraping the bottom of the barrel so to speak. If so oil is going to be harder and harder to find because shale has big decline rates.

If so, shale oil companies with proven large reserves will sky rocket in price. That's why Im investing all my spare cash in these companies. Its the next oil rush with some fat profits for those willing to take a punt on the explorers.
